The Pick It Up – Toss No Más program is continuing to work with the Town of Silver City to identify improper waste disposal issues that threaten our Town’s infrastructure and over-burden Utilities Department staff. One major issue we identified: the improper disposal of waste in our public sewer system. We’re excited to announce our 2026 community litter cleanup dates. Please consider joining a community cleanup to help keep Silver City a clean and beautiful place to live. We meet one morning per month, from 9 a.m. to noon. Since October 2021, over 1,000 volunteers have picked up nearly 33,000 lbs. of trash from our Town.
